161 black and white photographs, ca. 1942-1945, of the shipyards, workers and ships of the Oregon Shipbuilding corporation, including an album on the all-woman launch of the S.S. Nehalem. Originally built by Todd and Kaiser, the yards first had eight ways, later increased to 11 to meet the demand for Liberty and Victory ships.
